Travel Recommendations

Air: There are multiple airports serving the National.  The Baltimore and Washington area is served by three major airports: BWI Thurgood Marshall International Airport (BWI) outside Baltimore, Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) in Alexandria, VA, and Dulles International Airport (IAD) west of Washington. Air travelers may also want to consider the Philadelphia International Airport (PHL), convenient to I-95 just south of Philadelphia.  Salisbury also has a small airport (Salisbury-Ocean City-Wicomico Regional Airport - SBY) that is served by American Airlines (American Eagle) with connections to PHL and Charlotte (CLT).  For travel from the Washington, Baltimore, and Philadelphia airports, see the travel information below.  Rental cars are available at all major airports.
